Kenmore Rugby's High School Girls team ended their season with a solid win, defeating City Honors B by a score of 29-10. Emma McNab led the way with 3 tries, and Mia Burgos and Madison Greene each scored as well. Emily Pytlewski slotted 2 conversions to round out the scoring.

The RugbyNY Upstate Middle School 7's series concluded this opast weekend in Syracuse with the Kenmore Rugby teams displaying their best rugby of the year.
The boys team went 1-1-1 on the day, paced by Josean Rodriguez's 5 tries. Cole Hirschfelt and Peyton Barry scored twice each, and Randy Schaus, Nathan Wells, and Gavin Zlotkowski all scored once. The girls went 0-0-3, with Marleigh Szymendera scoring 3 times. The 5th and 6th grade boys won both pf their matches, led by Randy Schaus' 5 tries. Additionally, Lucas Melish-Rinne scored the first try of his middle school career!

Last, but certainly not least, Kenmore Rugby's summer youth program kicked off this past Monday. With over 30 kids, it was a fun and energetic evening at Elmwood Commons.
The program is led by current and former high school players, eager to share their love of the game. It's not too late to register, as the program will be running each week through July.
Looking to the week ahead, the Kenmore Rugby High School boys will be on their way to Siena College this weekend for the RugbyNY state championships. The boys will play a pair of matches against some of the best teams in New York.
Founded in 2004, the Kenmore Rugby Club is WNY's oldest and largest youth & high school rugby club with over 100 active players in grades K-12.
