The Director's Desk is an ongoing series of posts written by our Director of Rugby, Mackenzie Doolittle. This series is designed to keep an open channel of communication between our Board of Directors and our players, parents, and alumni.
Please read on for excerpts of Mack's Message.
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Mackenzie Doolittle, and I am the Director of Rugby at the Kenmore Rugby Club, a dedicated K-12 rugby organization committed to fostering courage, growth, empathy and passion among young athletes in our community.
We are reaching out to seek your support in helping us expand and staff our new free Community Rugby program at partner organizations, including local schools, the YMCA, and Boys & Girls Clubs. Our mission is to make rugby accessible to every child, regardless of their background, providing a safe, fun, and challenging environment where they can learn and grow.
Our Community Rugby program will be integral to our player development pathway. Current senior athletes will work alongside qualified coaches to implement these programs, gaining valuable leadership experience and relevant work readiness skills. This mentorship not only enhances the development of our seniors but also enriches the learning experience for younger participants.
We have created several sponsorship tiers, each designed to provide meaningful benefits and recognition for your contribution. Your sponsorship will help us provide essential resources for coaching staff, training equipment, and program materials.
In recognition of your generosity, we are eager to collaborate to showcase your brand through our promotional materials, events, and social media platforms, highlighting your commitment to supporting youth in our community. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of young athletes in our community.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact in our community through youth sports. We look forward to the possibility of partnering with Kenmore Rugby Club to create a thriving rugby culture for our youth.
Sincerely,
Mackenzie C. Doolittle
Kenmore Rugby Club
Director of Rugby
