Kenmore Rugby Club welcomes Mia Kenney-Mahoney to coaching staff

The Kenmore Rugby Club is proud to announce than Mia Kenney-Mahoney has joined the coaching staff as an assistant forwards coach for both the boys and girls high school sides.

Mia is a former member of SUNY Cortland Womens Rugby and Buffalo State Womens Rugby. She serves as the D2 Women's Coordinator for the Upstate New York Collegiate Rugby Conference and is the Head Coach of Buffalo State Womens Rugby.


Mia is a member of the North Buffalo Ninjas Rugby club where she is also the forwards captain. She is USA Rugby Level 200 certified and brings over 5 years of coaching experience to Kenmore Rugby.

'I'm excited to join Kenmore Rugby and to be able to pass on my passion for the game to the next generation of players.' said Kenney-Mahoney.
"As we continue to grow, it's important that we continue to expand our coaching staff, and Mia is a great addition. Her knowledge of the game is matched by her enthusiasm, and we can't wait to get started on our new season." said Kenmore Rugby Director of Coaching Mackenzie Doolittle

Founded in 2004, the Kenmore Rugby Club is WNY's oldest and largest youth and high school rugby club with over 100 active players in grades K-12.
